so hey, how have you all been? thought i should probably give a bit of a summer update lol
i've been able to do a bit more sightseeing since coming back from ireland! namely, i went to loch ness for the first time, despite not needing to travel too far (well. i still have to travel a while. but considering people will get on 10+ hour flights to get here it isn't so far) - i went on a boat around the loch, i went to urquhart castle, and overall had a good time!
i also went to dundee with my mam, which was really nice! i know it has the scumdee reputation, but i loved seeing the v&a and the mcmanus, but most importantly to me i went to a cex aND I SAW A VIRTUAL BOY IN REAL LIFE!!! WITH GAMES!!! the virtual boy is SO fucking interesting to me because of how shit it was, i want one so bad but this one was £410
i got to start my driving lessons over the summer, which i believe i forgot to mention in my last post! my instructor is lovely and i've been getting on well, but the only unfortunate thing is the PRICES AUGH each of my lessons is £59 and i've had to cut down from 1 a week to 1 fortnightly because it was eating away at my disability money :{
i bought myself a new computer!! i got it for £150 off of facebook marketplace with my parents very kindly covering a third of that, and i'm SO grateful for it omg it's SO much better than my old laptop. i can finally actually play the games i've been wanting to on it!... except i keep forgetting to play them, i still need to check out deltarune and half-life and the heartbound demo and helltaker and hypnospace outlaw and monster roadtrip and sky children of the light and tf2 and yume nikki, and even then i've still barely played celeste and monster camp and needy streamer overload and skul the hero slayer and trove and and cave story and new club penguin and moshi monsters rewritten- ough. if downoading lots of cheap/free games and never playing them was a crime id be in the chair forreal. at least i've been having fun with my singing monsters, doll eye chapter 1, and (mario) the music box LMFAOOOO
i also joined the melonland forum recently! it's a lovely community, and i've found myself checking in daily! i've never really taken part in forums before, anyone recommend any good ones?
for more recent updates, my friend from my current d&d group and i checked out a 16+ group today, as we currently attend an all ages -18 group... except it was Really busy and Really noisy and our autistic arses couldn't take that so we just decided to hang out in town for a few hours LMAO it was great though! very peaceful, we had a much better time than we would have had if we'd stayed :3 i also plan on going to the cinema tomorrow with my younger cousin who i've not seen in a while, we're gonna see the new deadpool movie :] except i need to watch the 2nd one and i also need to book cinema tickets FHDJDFHFJ
after having a few individual songs on my playlist, i've finally started listening to the tally hall (+ related) discography!! i've listened to MMMM, g&e, h:pii, and not a trampoline so far, but i've yet to listen to joe hawley joe hawley - are there any other significant ones i'm missing? hawaii part ii and good & evil are SUCHHHH banger albums holy shit where have they been all my life (i've known about em for years i just never bothered to listen to them in full). i've been listening to them nonstop this past week. i need to make a tally hall shrine to talk about them more omfggggggg and also i need to watch t.h.i.s
that's about it i think! i get to find out my college results on thursday, which means i'll likely be back to school soon :{ i guess i gotta cram all of my free drawing, gaming,and coding time into this next week oops-
