hi!!! its been. a while
i started back up at college in late august!! i'm getting on well with my first project, i only have a couple things to finish off :3 unfortunately, i've been told that to get into any art uni in scotland i need to have my higher english, which my last school didn't offer, and so i've had to take an evening class that i'm a month behind on because i started late... the factual work is fine, but i genuinely think that analysis of hidden meanings within creative works is gonna kill me. i can't not go to uni at the end of the year, i think i'll die if i stay up here another year
i wanna talk about all the things i've done within the past 2 months but... i haven't actually done all that much outside of college LOL
i can't even say i'm gonna work on the site during my week off!! i'm gonna be busy scrambling to get as much higher english done as i can!!! :( the main project i wanna work on is a portfolio site to show people irl, but i wouldn't even be able to share it here because it'd dox me!!!
OH!!! one thing i HAVE done is that i switched my old laptop from windows 10 to linux mint!!! i'm just about to do the same with my main computer, except i'll be dual-booting instead of switching wholly because of some games i like - i've heard of ways to get around that such as with the wine program or a virtual machine though. i'll probably do all of my coding, social stuff, and as many games as i can make work on linux tho!!
also, the tally hall (+related) hyperfixation is still going strong :3 i started listening to cojum dip recently and they're SO GOOD, i know it's the most popular but moon waltz is my favourite, though all the songs on the album are just SO PEAK. i also preordered the new hawaii part ii vinyl that came out yesterday!! it was £50 including shipping, but apparently tally hall-related merch gets scalped to FUCK, so i don't mind paying that much LOLLLLLL
